Kickin' it w/ the Caudles

The Caudles have become our Temple night swap couple. We have a nice little arrangement and we all try to go every month. The last time they watched our kids, Elise really did not want to leave! Maybe this is why (see picture above with Adam). : ) Or it could be that Trina always gives them baths when they come. After I got her ready to go, she turned around and said, "I come back later." It wasn't, "I come back later?"; it was definately a statement.

Last week we went to Norwood park with Trina, Summer and Rosemary. Trina had brought some fun bubble sticks in fun shapes: butterflies, a flower. When we got back, Trina put her kids in the car and Elise called out from the top of the stairs: "Bye! I had a fun time!" As all you mothers out there can attest, unsolicited expressions of gratitude are really the sweetest.

Thanks, Caudles! (Trina and Summer with her new haircut, ignore messy couch in the background.)

what fun pictures! I totally agree about the "unsolicited displays of gratitude". Nothing is better than when your kids gives a compliment of a really sincere thank you without being prompted by mommy. love you!

Thanks, Jackie! We love you too! And Elise definitely will be back later - we love having her and Elijah here to play together.
