We are so grateful to our friends the Palmers for their thoughtfulness and generosity! They recently gave us this cute princess bed because they moved to a different house. Elise ADORES it as you can see and Elijah is pretty thrilled about his new set-up. He's getting better at staying in his bed (at first he thought it was a huge game). The upside is I can train him before we have another baby, whenever that may be.
Tiana would laugh that I still had him in his *tiny * pack-n-play. But I had a dilema - bedtime was so easy (kids in bed around 8:30 - ish), and the question was: "Should I get a crib that converts into a toddler bed or just go straight to the toddler bed?"

Naptimes are hard, but I sometimes lock the door for 10 - 20 minutes and they usually fall asleep.... after crying... But this is a hard age! Elijah cannot go without a nap - the result is him conking out somewhere (usually the floor) somewhere between 4 - 6pm. Then that makes for a looong night...
It's all good though, I feel like we're getting back into a good routine. Mahalo again, Palmers!

hehe. Looking at those pictures, I see that Elise really does have the Yonashiro cheeks, just like I did as a kid! HUGE cheeks! SO CUTE!!!! You have the cutest kids ever. Really!!!
