It feels more official now that we've witnessed Aaron walk for graduation this past Friday evening. We are so proud of his hard work... it has not been an easy road. He studied hard and persevered until he achieved his degree, all the while striving to provide for our family of four by first working at the Senate and then at his current job at a consulting firm. We are so grateful for his ambitious goals and emphasis on continual learning and education.
I can't stress enough how wonderful it is to have Aley and his family here, to feel of their aloha and love and to know that they are vying for our family's success, as we are theirs. Aley made it known which graduate was ours (grateful I didn't have to make all the noise!) and took great pictures for our memory books.
GW is a really impressive campus and it was fun to see all the graduates and their families. We got to see Sarah and Taylor just for a minute, so no pictures unfortunately!

Aley also was really nice about helping me with the kids. At one point Elijah knocked our camera off my lap and all the batteries went sprawling everywhere! Aley hunted down each one (there were 4) out from under legs and all. So nice!
Elijah was less than thrilled that he couldn't joined his daddy down on the floor. And in this picture he is not to thrilled about being woken up from his late afternoon car nap. The picture below is before the nap.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a huge, huge deal! Boy, do we also know the hard work that goes into a graduate degree!

Yeah! Congrats Aaron!! What a great accomplishment. I am so jealous that you got to witness him walk, too. I won't get to do that unless I make CJ walk next year. Well done, Aaron. Now it is full immersion into the real world! Congrats to you too, Jackie, for "putting" him through. You definitely got your PhT (putting hubby through)
Also, I loved the pics of the Lurray Caverns. I remember them from when I was a kid, and now you make me want to go with my kids!

Congratulations Aaron!! I am highly impressed you did all this with a family! We just got a baby.. pup, and he pretty much demands all our attention ;P What dedication.. I love the photos, thanks Jackie for posting!

Way to go, Aaron! Working and going to school atthe same time seems such a huge burden. Luckily life with Jackie would ease most strains. You guys are such a great family! Hope you move out our way soon!!!
Congratulations. I need to do some blog catching up but it looks like you guys have been having a lot of fun lately. I'm happy for you and your family and such an accomplishment.
