The Building Zone and Golden Monkey

Earlier this month, the Bethesda Mommy Group made the trip down to the Building Zone. It was a fun group - the Harrisons, Browns, Huguelys, Christensens, Holbrooks, Gattens, and Hulets all came. It was super crowded that day but well worth the wait!

A few of us went down to the National Building Museum again last Wednesday - a fun activity for a cold day. We encountered a lady on the metro that insisted on sitting behind me even though there was plenty of seating elsewhere and our strollers were blocking the way. It was weird. Summer and Elise loved dressing up, Elijah liked rolling around in the giant legos and we had a picnic before heading home. We all had something to share - Trina had sandwiches, grapes and fig newtons... Gabriella shared some breadsticks and healthy cheeto - things that were covered in a tasty spinach (?) seasoning instead if cheese. I just had some Cheezits and some yogurt to share. Thanks, Trina for taking these pictures!

A few weeks ago, we met up with Sarah, Ethan & Issac to visit the Natural History Museum - which was really great for the toddlers. They love to ask what things are and are at a perfect age to enjoy walking around a museum because they find so much wonder in all the exhibits. We had to take pictures of the kids and that Golden Monkey in the theater. I was so impressed with Issac - he had such great timing and decided to eat while the kids were watching the educational movie. What a good baby!
