"Best in the Whole World!"

My sweet, active, very vocal little boy - Elijah.

His Auntie B calls him, 'Elijah the Prophet.'

Always inquisitive,
he questioned, "Why do you call me Elijah the prophet?"
To which she explained the man from the Old Testament.
The one who flew into the sky with a chariot of fire and saw Jesus.

So now he knows. And he authoritatively tells people that
"Elijah flew in the sky and found Jesus."
But still he wonders, "How can he fly? with magic?"

Which leads me to...
Elijah is obsessed
With paper airplanes, superhero capes and with magic.
Luckily he has a father and uncle who also love to fly
and oblige his frequent requests to fold him a paper airplane...
at least 20 times a day.

I don't know where this came from,
but his magical word is "BOOLAH!"
He'll say it while covering some object:
"BOOLAH! DISAPPEAR IT!"  or "BOOLAH! MAKE IT APPEAR!"

Unfortunately he often desires to perform magic in church or some other quiet place.
I made the mistake of hiding the object once while he was performing.
He thought it he disappeared it!
Oh, I felt so horribly.
His face was so purely in awe!
I explained what I did and luckily, he still loves magic.

How I love my loving, noisy, active little boy who often declares us the best mommy, daddy, Elise in the whole world!
(He also often declares us not his best ___ in the whole world, but I'll take the previous any day. : )

I can't believe how big he's gotten! He is such a good looking kid, and that story about his magic is so hilarious. I can just imagine his little face thinking he did magic! So cute! Once again, we love you and miss you! Such cute posts about your little ones!

I love that Elijah thinks he is magic. In a way he is. He sounds like he is all boy. You must be doing a great job as both of your kids look so happy!
