The Old man & his Broccoli

Sometimes, I feel like I blink and my kids grow up another year. So fast!  Is Elise really going to kindergarten next year?  At the end of her pre-school year in May, she was awarded for academic excellence and for having a joyful heart. : )  We loved her experience and teacher at HC.

We love our Elise.
Elise is very tender-hearted.

My favorite is when
Elijah does or says something cute, we exchange knowing looks and giggle.

She's creative and artsy

She's loves to sing and love's Glee's songs, especially "Don't Stop Believin'"

She's silly
She memorized some Nursery rhymes and puts her own spin on them sometimes.
One of our favorite that she retells occasionally is:
"The once was an old man
who lived in a shoe.
He didn't know what to do!
So he picked up some broccoli
and put it in the fridge for about 18 minutes...
Then kissed them all sweetly
and put them in bed. (peals of laughter.)
Then he woke up
and said:
'Oh man!  A monster ate my broccoli!'"

I wrote it down so that she can illustrate it sometime soon... for kicks and giggles.
